Club
Champion Bill Taylor
Bill
Taylor clinched the Club Championship at Lochter by coming 2nd
in the final competition of the year. Bill only needed 1 point
to put the Championship out of Aaron Greigs reach.
Bill
finished the season on 67 points for the year and Aaron in his
first season as a junior fought him all the way and ended up second
on 57 points. In third place was Ian Strachan Jnr who finished
on 47 points. With 10 points on offer for a win missing any competitions
can prove costly as shown by the poins gap between the top three
places.
Boat
Champion Ian Strachan Jnr
Ian
Strachan Jnr won the final boat competition at Lake of Menteith
and overtook Bill Taylor and Aaron Greig for the title of Club
Boat Champion. Bill had a bad day at Menteith and recorded nil
returns he only needed to catch a fish to win the ctitle but it
was not to be, Ian meanwhile had 2fish for 7lb-1oz and clinched
the championship by one point, while Aaron had 2 fish for 4lb
12oz to finish second by having a heavier overall weight of fish
for the season over Bill. Ian finished the season on 40 points
with Aaron and Bill on 39 points each.
