Body: In three equal parts seals fur black-scarlet-black (tied sparse)
Rib: fine mirage pearl U.T.C.
Over rib: Lagurtan fine silver wire (to reinforce pearl)
Legs: 6 in total tied on top of hook cock pheasant centre tail dyed black and knot each fibre.
Head hackle: Black hen 2 turns only
Notes: Good all rounder for browns and rainbows, Gink body only.
Hook: #12 Medium Wire
Thread: Black Sparton Micro
Tail: 6 cock hackle fibres black
Body: 4 or 5 cock pheasant centre tail fibres in touching turns over two thirds of shank
Rib: Lagurtan fine silver wire 4 turns
Thorax: veniards peacock micro brite 3 turns
Head hackle: Black hen 3 turns 
Notes: Good vague representation nymph pattern.
Hook: #12 Medium Wire
Thread: Olive Sparton Micro
Body: Dubbed veniard peacock glister dub
Wing: Olive Roe deer hair in sparse bunches 4 or 5 on top of hook in conjunction with body.
Head hackle: Clipped bunch of deer hair
Notes: Fine Orkney pattern variant, Gink the hair only
